John Dies At The End Trailer
The above trailer, which hopefully you’ve just watched, is based on two books originally written by Cracked writer John Wong and now turned into an indie-movie which will probably have Paul Giamatti in it for just one scene. Luckily, something this trippy doesn’t need star power. Besides, I’d rather see more of Danzigger. Only people who have seen Earth 2 will know what I’m talking about. Enjoy that mostly useless reference folks.
The story involves the horrifying events which unfold when John’s mind is rocketed to higher levels of conciousness, and he ends up on some sort of multi-dimensional trip. One reviewer called the book “Lovecraft meets Kevin Smith”, and judging from the trailer, that seems pretty apt.
This is low-budget indie-movie, so don’t expect a big ad campaign or a wide release. Keep an eye out for it.
