First Image Of Jemaine Clement As The Villain Of Men In Black III
The Men In Black III trailer hasn’t alleviated my concerns about the sequel to a movie that was a product of its time. Specifically the first film was entrenched in the old Will Smith style, with the best parts coming from Tommy Lee Jones out one-lining the then “Welcome to Erf” king of one liners. Strangely enough the latest image of Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) traipsing about in Easy Rider style as an alien in MIB3 has me a little more interested.
Clement says that the look is “creepy yet charming,” according to the New Zealand Herald. He certainly has a beard to be envious of in the photo, which is a more candid shot of the actor. We’re not sure how he’ll actually look in alien form, but there’s mention of prosthetics and hideousness.
We don’t have too much longer to wait as Men in Black III helps ring in what should be a better summer blockbuster season than 2011 on May 25, 2012.
