In Prometheus Michael Fassbender will play an android named David, sent on humanity’s mission of exploration to assist the crew. Like every android in the Alien universe, he may not be exactly what he seems. But what seems certain is that Michael Fassbender may be on the verge of giving one of the best performances of his already amazing career.
This morning Fox launched a new viral video for Prometheus featuring Fassbender’s David character. It’s structured as though it’s a commercial for the David model android, produced by Weyland Industries. Fassbender talks about his robot line, explains his freedom from human emotions while he cries, and in a subtle way manages to be introspective, friendly, and accidentally scary all at the same time.
