Now that Marvel has found their Star-Lord/Peter Quill in actor Chris Pratt, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy team is cast. To soften the shock of casting a (mostly) comedic actor in the lead role, a mash-up poster was created to combine Guardians of the Galaxy with Pratt’s current role as the goofy and lovable Andy Dwyer on NBC’s Parks & Recreation.

The good people at Vulture created the awesomely hilarious mash-up poster. It’s inspired to see Amy Poehler as the adorable Rocket Raccoon, Nick Offerman as the treelike alien Groot, Aubrey Plaza as an eye-rolling Gamora, and Aziz Ansari as a flamboyant Drax the Destroyer. At the center of it all is Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord. Good job, Internet!

Guardians of the Galaxy is the latest offering from Marvel Studios, and probably the riskiest so far. The intergalactic police squad is definitely a strange group of characters. It’s not clear if general audiences will be receptive to the cosmic elements of Marvel Phase 2, but its overall acceptance could hinge on the appeal of Chris Pratt. If he sells it, the others will be easier for viewers to swallow. We’re also betting his role is going to have a sense of humor to help ease the audience into the world of talking trees and gun-toting raccoons.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens in theaters everywhere on August 1, 2014 in 3D.
