As Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla reboot go into pre-production, the film is quickly building fan anticipation and excitement. A new photo has surfaced, teasing the scope of Godzilla’s destruction of what appears to be London. How much of the new Godzilla will be a global film rather than just isolating it in one city? Check out the aftermath of Godzilla’s terror on London below. You can click the image for a larger version.

The image surfaced on Godzilla‘s Facebook page, although it is not clear if this is the film’s official page or not. Concept artist Jordane Menard, who posted it on his tumblr. page but has since removed it, created the alleged Godzilla image. The caption under the Facebook image reads, “Godzilla 2014 Trailer Under Construction at MPC in London.”

Last July during San Diego Comic Con, Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures teased the Hall H crowd with the announcement of Gareth Edwards as the film’s new director and a brief sizzle reel of what will be Godzilla. Reports coming out of Hall H were mostly positive as Edwards revealed how much Godzilla meant to him. Gareth Edwards received notable attention for his minimalistic sci-fi travelogue Monsters in 2010.

The Facebook account looks to be a fan page rather than anything official, but apparently the image itself is the genuine article. The folks over at Bleeding Cool were on hand last July and saw the Comic-Con presentation, and they are confirming that this image was taken from Edwards’ sizzle reel.

Godzilla opens in theaters everywhere on May 16, 2014.
