In God We Trust Trailer: Jesus Goes Post-Apocalyptic
In God We Trust may not be your cup of tea, whether because you don’t like the idea of God’s power over humanity, or if you don’t believe in God and think the idea of his existence is ludicrous. But if you could care less about God and simply want to see some good special effects for next to no money, this may be the film for you.
The trailer hit the web a few weeks ago to generally positive reviews, though I think any naysayers would think more highly of the work if they knew the story behind the film. Check out the trailer and see what you think.
Is it going to blow big budget blockbusters out of the water? No way. However, the feature-length film was produced for next to nothing, a mere £1200 or just under $2000, by four friends who are simply trying to pique the interest of the studios in an attempt to get some money to make a real movie. That’s dedication.
Alex Gingell, Dan Haigh, Bastiaan Koch, and Alex Westaway have done some pretty cool things here even if it doesn’t look like a trailer for the greatest movie ever made. Keep your eye out for these guys as this may be enough to stir enough interest to land them a real budget to make their next feature.
