“These ARE the droids you’re looking for!” After the release of Star Trek Into Darkness in a few weeks, J.J. Abrams will change teams and focus on the production of Star Wars: Episode VII for Disney and Lucasfilm. But before Abrams takes on Star Wars, take a look at screenwriter Michael Arndt, trying his hardest to write the damn movie. Hopefully, the Funny or Die video above is not indicative of Mr. Arndt’s actual writing process. The best moment in the video is the line, “Yoda is alive! How? Explain later I will…”

There still aren’t many official details known about Episode VII yet. Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, and Carrie Fisher are all rumored to be returning to reprise their roles as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia, respectively, but nothing has been confirmed. Other Star Wars cast members such as Anthony Daniels and Billy Dee Williams have thrown their hats in the ring as well, but again, nothing is set in stone at this point.

Really, all we do know is that J.J. Abrams will direct, Michael Arndt will write, and it will be released during the summer of 2015. Maybe Michael Arndt will take some cues from Comedian Patton Oswalt’s take on Star Wars: Episode VII – The Gauntlet of Infinity
