Next up is Vincent Price as the Third Doctor, standing in for Jon Pertwee’s dashing, cape-wearing time lord. The Third’s era saw the Doctor stranded on Earth and stripped of his TARDIS, meaning he got to engage in all manner of adventures with UNIT. Sort of a Deep Space Nine as compared to Trek’s traditional ship-bound adventures. Price would definitely have been a very different Doctor than Pertwee, but it still would have been something to see. If nothing else, it would be interesting to see the creepier edge Price could have brought to the role.
