And at last we come to the newest Doctor, the Twelfth, played here in reality by Peter Capaldi, and in Bizarro World by Bryan Fucking Cranston. Capaldi is best known from one universally praised performance: Malcolm Tucker from The Thick of It/In the Loop. For Cranston, that would obviously be his master class as Walter White in Breaking Bad. While we have yet to see much of Capaldi’s Doctor, he’s said to be taking the role back in a darker, more serious direction, and there’s no question Cranston could pull that off like gangbusters. Honestly, I’d watch Bryan Cranston play pretty much anybody, but I’d sure as hell love to see his Doctor.
