SlipcaseDoctor Who celebrated five decades of time-hopping adventures last year, giving Whovians a heaping dose of fan service in the form of The Day of the Doctor, which had the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors (David Tennant and Matt Smith) joining forces to try and change their own history and fix their greatest mistake. But unless you keep up with all the cross-media Doctor Who merchandise, you might have overlooked one of the cooler 50th anniversary tie-ins. In the months leading up to the anniversary, best-selling authors such as Neil Gaiman and Eoin Colfer penned new novellas focusing on each of the Doctor’s eleven incarnations (up to that point). Now Puffin is re-releasing the novellas, along with a previously unpublished Twelfth Doctor story.

Puffin will release the Doctor Who: 12 Doctors, 12 Stories set on October 23 in the U.K. and November 18 in the U.S. You’ll also be able to buy the books individually. UK readers can pre-order the set on Amazon or Waterstones, and those of us in the States can pre-order on Amazon. Check out details and cover art for each of the stories below, as well as links to the Kindle versions if you just want to read them ASAP.
