With less than a week until the release of Cloud Atlas, Warner Bros. is releasing a large collection of behind-the-scenes featurettes to build awareness for the epic film. To general audiences, not much is known about Cloud Atlas despite its “best-selling novel” tag. In the following featurettes, the cast of Cloud Atlas discusses how much work and how fun it was to play various characters spanning over generations, ethnicities, and genders. Watch the video below:

Famously, the main slate of the cast had to play at least five to six different roles in the film, which will be fun to try to pick out while watching the film. It was smart to cast actors Tom Hanks and Halle Berry in the lead roles to drive general audiences to the theater to watch Cloud Atlas. With Cloud Atlas opening in less than a week, the excitement for the film couldn’t get any bigger. The big question around Cloud Atlas is, not how the cast and crew made the film but will general audiences show up to watch the movie? Cloud Atlas opens in theaters everywhere on October 26th 2012.
