It’s a true testament to how out-of-my-mind stoked I am for Pacific Rim that, even with the absurd amount promotion from Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures, I’m nowhere near sick of it. There was a new TV spot the other day, but that doesn’t matter, another one dropped today, and it looks just as awesome. And we still have a month until the Guillermo del Toro’s monsters versus robots epic hits IMAX theaters, so who knows what the hell we’ll see before then.

This latest focuses on the key selling point of Pacific Rim, giant creatures duking it out with skyscraper tall mechanical warriors for the fate of humanity. That’s all there is to this quick commercial, monsters, robots, ass kicking, and Charlie Day talking about how cool it is. Well you know what, Charlie, it is pretty damn cool.

After giant beasts called Kaiju emerge from the bottom of the ocean—through a rift between dimensions, no less—humans create monsters of their own, called Jaegers, in order to compete. When things are at their most dire, a washed up pilot (Charlie Hunnam), and an untested rookie (Rinko Kikuchi), must join forces to pilot an outdated Jaeger for one last grasp at survival.

If ever there was a reason for someone to develop time travel technology, getting to see Pacific Rim sooner rather than later would be at the top of my list. The movie also stars Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Robert Kazinsky, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Jr., Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Brad William Henke, and Diego Klattenhoff.
