You must be young and ignorant of the usefulness of elderly people. From
that statement you show your tendency to discriminate against people whose
only crime is to be older than you. The nice thing about age is
that one day you will be there, unless you have an accident or illness, and
when you do, you will run into some young person that feels the same way you do
against the elderly and then you won’t like it.

It always looked like a stupid fun summer movie to me. I still don’t understand why so many people let the name of it get to them. It’s not like this is going to ruin the plot of their Battleship game.

I knew this movie was going to suck the first moment I saw the trailer. Filmmaking is an art and these movies just don’t belong in the same medium as, say, E.T. or The Longest Day or Pearl Harbor or Independence Day.
