The Buckaroo Bonzai movie barely started exploring the setting they created. It could easily run the gamut of adventures similar to what Eureka or Sliders explored.

  2. Just bring back Terminator TSCC

Why did I do that to myself? Is there some sort of procedure I can perform on myself to erase the memory of the film using only common household tools or chemicals?

See if you successfully erased your memory you’d be wondering if Barbarella would make a good Tv series, despite everything you’d heard, & hence be about to re-experience Duran-Duran again (give me Heaven-17 any day)

    Wasn’t Barbarella a book first?

  4. didn’t even look at the other ones. saw serenity at the bottom and cast my vote!!

  5. mike says:

I’d like to see Buckaroo done by Joss. I think that would be interesting.

  6. Eh. I’d actually rather see what a brilliant director could do, inspired by a dreadful campy iconic 60s scifi, than any of those others. They’re all pretty tired ideas.

If you really want to see a Star Trek spoof series, we don’t need a Galaxy Quest series. Just go watch HyperDrive or Quark.

  7. Personally, I’d love to see a Daybreakers show. Honestly, taking a sci-fi approach to vampires created one of the most interesting new vampire stories since this craze began. Unfortunately, I think “Vampires Suck” was the beginning of the end of the fad, which is too bad since so much of what came out of it was re-hashed stuff.

  8. James Vetzal says:

spot on, buckaroo banzai kicked some major ass too, well done sir

  9. Kyle Burley says:

barbarella is nothing but boring trash. far as tv shows go, i say bring back firefly, sarah conners chronicles,, farscape, and daybreakers could be good.

  10. Sergio Perez says:

anyone of those would be awsome

  11. AsidMjolnir says:

Uhm. Serenity WAS a TV show before it was a movie, so having it here is kinda… pointless.

  12. Andrew Reese says:

    I’m totally for Rocketeer!

  13. I think a Barbarella tv show directed by NWR will be far more interesting then any of these possible show. And his Logan Run remake will be a cult classic. I called it.

  14. Shane says:

I still think a boy and his dog was Johnson’s best work. Not sure the whole gf as dog food would go over well on tv but I’d sure as hell watch it.

    *slow clap* Bravo Sir Wharton….

  16. BatBob says:

    Batman. HBO. ’nuff said

  17. baby fart mcgeeziaks says:

I voted Galaxy Quest, it was a fun movie and if we can’t get a Trek series I would be happy with that. Serenity, although I still haven’t seen the whole Firefly series or the film, what I have seen I enjoyed so I’d be cool with that. I’ve never seen Buckaroo Banzai but it looks fun so why not. I love a Boy and His Dog but I can’t imagine the TV series being done right so I’m going to say no to that.

  18. Rocketeer would make a great tv show but I would be pretty stoked if they made a Barbarella show. As long as it is as sexy as the first three minutes of the film

  19. Oh hell yes, the Rocketeer way before Barbar hell no. I watch that and want the hour or so that sucked out of my life back. How can people even think Jane as a good actress, she was awful. She made John Phillip Law look good, and I’ve seen plenty of his B movies on MST3K.
