Watch Amy, Rory, And The Doctor Sing Bohemian Rhapsody

“Although, yesterday on a rickshaw, we sang the whole of Bohemian Rhapsody.” And without further ado, Karen and the Babes (which is what some call the occasionally musical trio) set off on their own highly entertaining rendition of Queen’s ten minute masterpiece.

At first, it seems that Arthur is the real frontman behind the band, until Karen really gets going. Did you hear that high note? If you thought all the jokes about Karen being in a girl band were good natured ribbing, think again, Amy Pond has a killer set of pipes. (And this isn’t the first time that she’s sung at Comic-Con. Click here for a clip of Karen singing California Girls.) Actually, all three of them do.

Matt Smith is a little lost between Arthur’s rapid spewing of lyrics and Karen’s sporadic but powerful vocals, but he seems content to stay in the background for once and let his companions have the spotlight, which is quite apt really, considering that the Ponds have just wrapped up shooting their last season.

The three of them are all huge fans of music, with favorite artists including Bon Iver and Arcade Fire, and talk about it with their fans quite a bit in their recent appearance at Nerd HQ at Comic-Con. If you haven’t watched the entire thing yet, you really should, right now. It’s vastly entertaining, and about the length of a Doctor Who episode, should you be having withdrawals while waiting for season 7.

For more footage of the Doctor, Amy and Rory on their trip across the Ppond, check out their aforementioned trip in a pedicab around San Diego:

Perhaps it would be a much better idea to make “Doctor Who: The Musical” featuring Matt, Karen, and Arthur than David Yates’ planned Doctor Who movie.

Seriously, who the fuck cares about Doctor Trashcan? This is possibly the worst science fiction show ever. Unless you’re Euro trash.

If you don’t care, don’t read the post. But it’s a rather popular show, not just in Europe but in the United States. The huge crowd in the above Comic Con panel video should be enough evidence of that for you… which suggests you’re just trolling. Don’t do it again.

Actually the show is British. The United Kingdoms of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are an island (two, counting the smaller island of Ireland just off the coast). They are not part of mainland Europe. They may be part of the European Union but they are not European, they are British and it is incorrect to refer to them as Euro anything. Common mistake made by the ignorant. And yes, please don’t troll, it’s so passe.
