Aliens And RoboCop Retold As Raps
Aliens and RoboCop are two of the best science fiction movies of all time, each a juggernaut of awesomeness in their own way. But you know what they’re missing? A British guy recounting the storylines via rap. Wait, come back, just give it a chance! A YouTuber named robomayhem has created long rap videos over footage from the two movies, with selected dialogue used as lyrics. In other words, he’ll be rapping, then he’ll drop in a line of dialogue to complete the rhyme. I know, it sounds awful, but it becomes sort of transfixing after a bit. The guy’s lyrical skills aren’t any threat to Eminem or anything, but there’s something oddly entertaining about seeing how he works in the various lines of dialogue. And I was going to detract points for going into the events of Alien 3 at the end of the Aliens rap, but then he ended it in a way that made me chuckle. Here you have it: the Amazing Aliens and RoboCop raps.
