See All 5 Star Trek Captains Together For The First Time
It seems a little hard to believe, when you consider all the time Star Trek actors spend showing up at Trek conventions, but Star Trek’s five Captains have never actually been together at the same time. At least not until last weekend when William Shatner, Patrick Stewart, Avery Brooks, Kate Mulgrew, and Scott Bakula appeared together at the Wizard World Philadelphia Comic Con.

Star Trek may not be on TV anymore, and the franchise seems to be skewing towards hot youngsters running around shooting things, but it’s not all bad out there for Trekkies. The timing of this photo is perfect. It was 30-years ago today that Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan debuted in theaters. It remains the best Trek movie and maybe one of the best movies of all time. Celebrate here. Relive the best of times.
