Have I lost a lot of faith? Of course, but I still think it would be really cool if this study found something. Furthermore everyone needs to remember that humans are genetically closer to chimps than horses are to donkeys… and humans are a lot more screwed up. If nothing else is it not possible that there are some random lost ape-men roaming about the earth in secluded places that occasionally are seen/photographed? As far out as it may seem that a whole species exists that has not been found, I think this scenario seems like a viable and interesting (if not creepy) explanation.
