I recently moved to the Portland, OR area and here’s a perfect example of why Portland deserves to have me within its city limits: Star Trek In The Park.

It’s become an annual tradition in Portland, a group of people get together and perform classic Trek episodes live. Some cities do MacBeth but here in Portland we do Space Seed.

Yep, this year’s episode is the classic, first ever introduction of one of the greatest villains of all time: Khan. It happens at Woodlawn Park throughout the month of July on Saturdays and Sundays at 5pm and here’s the official Star Trek In The Park 2010 poster:
