When he’s not making awesome comic book movies and zombie grindhouse flicks, filmmaker Robert Rodriguez has a second career as a low-budget Walt Disney. His sci-fi oriented kid’s movies like Spy Kids and Shark Boy and Lava Girl never really seem to crossover to adults, but kids seem to love them. At worst, maybe they’re a way to launch pliable young imaginations into a bigger, better, sci-fi world.
The trailer for Rodriguez’s latest kid-effort has arrived. It’s called Shorts and it seems to be about a wishing rock which summons miniature aliens. Or something. Take a look:
