Robert Rodriguez, the guy behind kiddie sci fi movies like Spy Kids and much better, badass Rated-R films like Sin City and the most underrated zombie movie ever made, Planet Terror, is getting futuristic. He's signed up to do a futuristic thriller called Nevercrackers for genre producer Dimension Films.
Here's how Variety describes the plot:
Set in 2085, the story centers on a character named Joe Tezca who is part of an elite unit dispatched to quell a crime wave in a theoretically perfect future society.
