You may not know who Diora Baird now, but you might have if her scene as a green-skinned Orion slave girl hadn't been cut out of JJ Abrams' Star Trek. She's not the one who Kirk bangs in Uhura's quarters, she's a different, spunky chick who Kirk encounters in the hallway and confuses for his most recent conquest because, well I guess Kirk's a racist and all green skinned people look alike to him.
Diora's scene may not have made it into the movie but now it's online and, it's definitely worth your time. She's spunky and cute and Kirk's insincerity is exactly what you'd expect. Take a look after the jump:
Don't feel too bad for Diora. Sure she got cut out of Star TreK but she has a whole host of other projects coming out soon and if, like me, you follow her Twitter Feed you know she's talented, funny, and pretty crazy cool. She's going to have more work than she can handle.
