We have four brand new character posters from the upcoming Green Lantern movie. They don’t show much but fans of the DC Comic on which its based are sure to lose their minds over the posters tagline. Put the four posters together and they complete these sentence: “In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight!”
That’s the first part of Green Lantern’s mantra, which he recites to recharge the energy of his ring of power. The completed mantra is: “In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight! Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power, Green Lantern’s light!” Does that mean more posters are forthcoming? If they’re as cool as these, then I hope they finish reciting it.
