Steven Spielberg is working on a new drama series for Fox which, sounds an awful lot like Land of the Lost. It’s called Terra Nova and here’s how Variety describes it:
Spielberg and Peter Chernin are in negotiations to board the drama project “Terra Nova,” which is described as following a family from 100 years in the future who travel back in time 150 million years to the strange and inhospitable environs of prehistoric Earth.
I’m all for getting time travel and dinosaurs on my television, in any form. Besides, Spielberg and thunder lizards has always been a good mix in the past. But is network television’s budget really up to the task of creating the special effects necessary to deliver realistic dinosaurs? Maybe they should call these guys:
